I'm Bahlul Mikayilov, and I have been a photographer for 20 years. Over two decades behind the camera I have learned that the best pictures come from patience, good light and people who feel at ease.
I photograph newborns, portraits, studio sessions and products. Each kind of work asks for something different: calm and safety for a newborn, honesty for a portrait, control of light in the studio, and precise detail for a product.
My own studio is in Shawnee, Kansas. It is where most sessions happen, set up so families, clients and brands can work in comfort and take their time.
